The 2022 Beaune Epenottes ler Cru needs to forage a little more focus on the nose; it's a tad rustic in style compared to its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins, plenty of dark, peppery fruit, and just a bit of dryness toward the spicy finish. Fine.
