Rochefort Trappistes Triple Extra

Aroma and taste show the Rochefort signature layered, rich depth with elusive citrus and spice accents. Color is deep gold with amber highlights, and the body is fairly light for a beer of this strength. Superbly complex, this expands the boundaries of the style. (Note French spelling, “Triple,” rather than the Dutch “tripel.”) Bold enough to pair with bold cheese and charcuterie before or after dinner; serve with roast duck or wild game main dishes. Pair with black trumpet mushrooms, salsify soup, truffle dishes, or artichokes. Serve in the traditional stemmed Rochefort goblet.
