Rustic Bakery Artisan flat breads and lavosh are made entirely by hand in small batches in Marin County, California. We use a natural wild yeast starter to leaven our breads which is the respected and traditional age old method of bread baking. Sweet Onion & Creme Fraiche. Our most popular flavor, the sweet organic onions are mellowed by careful roasting in our ovens. Using Strauss Dairy cream to make our creme fraiche contributes to the wonderful taste of this flavor. Fantastic pairings include: Triple cream cheese such as Brillat Savarin or Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam, cave aged Gruyere or Emmantel or the wonderful Italian 3 milk cheese, Rochetta.
